ABOUT US
DeCaria Engineering Limited is a Canadian owned company that provides expert mechanical and electrical consulting services to the construction industry enabling our clients to build, renovate and maintain systems for a range of structures. Our scope of work includes but is not limited to commercial, residential, industrial, retail and institutional buildings, frequently encompassing LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) applications.
Our knowledgeable, qualified staff produce drawings and specifications for building services that include HVAC systems, plumbing and sprinkler systems layouts, power distribution, data and communications designs, indoor and outdoor lighting layouts and calculations, emergency lighting, power generation and electrical site services. When completing drawings, current regulations, the environment and safety measures are an integral part of our process.
In June 2015, DeCaria Engineering Ltd., celebrated 25 years of engineering excellence. Our collaborative, proactive and strong work ethic contribute to the success of our firm, consistently providing clients with innovative solutions to meet their objectives.

Giuseppe (Joe) DeCaria
Joe graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1977 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering. He immediately found employment with a large Toronto based engineering firm. Here he developed critical skills that provided him with the foundation to open his own business in 1985, with a partner. Finally in 1990, Joe started DeCaria Engineering Limited a company now boasting over 25 years of service.
With over 35 years of experience Joe is recognized as a Consulting Professional Engineer in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. As a visionary, from inception to conclusion, Joe has managed all aspects of the engineering process with accuracy and accountability. With his guidance and extensive knowledge DeCaria Engineering has emerged as a competent firm that strives for excellence in providing service to our clientele.
